Winter Solstice Banquet Registration Due December 1st
The deadline for registering for the 2012 Winter Solstice Banquet is December 1, 2012. Time is running out to join our Humanist family at our premiere event. Tickets will not be available at the door.
Here is what you may miss if you don't register by December 1st:
JT Eberhard will be our speaker for the Winter Solstice Banquet 2012. He will be speaking about his experience in the Freethought community and its impact on his personal journey. He will also reflect on positive aspects of the movement and goals we can reach for in the future. Prepare to walk away inspired and ready become an active member of your local Humanist Community!
The banquet will be held on Saturday, December 8th, at the Days Inn, 750 Stelzer Rd, Columbus, Ohio. Registration is $25 for members, $20 for low-income/student members, $35 for non-members, and $10 for kids (12 and under). You can register online or download the paper form and mail it in. Camp Quest will be providing activities for children this year at the Winter Solstice Banquet from 1:30pmto 3:30 pm. All children are welcome, but those younger than the age of 5 will need to be accompanied by a parent.

Our Tentative Schedule of Events
12-12:30: Registration and live music with Alan Reed
12:30-12:45: Welcome and Lunch Served
1:30: 2012 HCCO Volunteer Recognition, Apex award, and our Humanist of the Year Award
2:30: Keynote with JT Eberhard
This year's banquet will be served buffet style and offers you a choice between Parmesan chicken breast topped with tomato sauce or Penne with tomato basil sauce (vegan and vegetarian friendly). Both entrees are served with a house salad and Italian bread with garlic butter. Children will be served Farfalle (bowtie) with tomato alfredo sauce. A Tossed green salad will be served with Ranch or Italian Dressing. Iced tea, coffee, water, and soda are provided. A dessert assortment of mini cannolis, tiramisu, and brownies will also be served.
