Welcome to the January 2018 Community Report for The Humanist Community of Central Ohio. This report–which is a collaborative effort of the board and other volunteers–is meant to share vital metrics of our organization’s health, direction, and progress on a month by month basis.
We are excited to launch the brand new website for the Humanist Community of Central Ohio. The last time we had a major update to the website was 2011, so a facelift was long overdue. However, it’s the technology underneath the surface that we hope will help us better achieve our mission of providing a supportive local community for humanists and other nontheists in the Central Ohio area.
In middle school, a friend and I were trying to decide how much we knew. We didn’t think we knew everything, but we figured we knew at least 90% of everything. We also felt sure about how parents, teachers, and administrators should be doing their jobs…
