Now playing at the Drexel is a Romance/Comedy/Drama that unfortunately is a reality in many people’s lives. The films protagonist, Cameron, a high-school track athlete, is forced to attend a Christian gay conversion therapy center after her legal guardian discovers she is a lesbian. But Cameron finds camaraderie and solidarity with the other gay teens there and learns how to survive in an intolerant world.

I’ve been planning to see this film and have chosen this date and time to take advantage of the lower ticket prices. I will be in the lobby up until showtime at 7 in my blue HCCO shirt for those who are interested. There are ice cream parlors and Rusty Bucket is nearby to discuss the film afterward – time permitting.
