The winter months to follow were typically difficult for early peoples. In fact, they came to be known as “the famine months.” Today of course, winters aren’t so hard on our stomachs–quite the opposite for many of us! But our human need for community, connection, and celebration has not changed. And so we are excited to announce that we will once again be hosting our annual Winter Solstice Banquet and we’d love it if you joined us.
We have limited availability so be sure to reserve your spot today.
Note: Families with children are welcome. Children under 12 are free. Childcare will not be available at the event.
- Shrimp Cocktail
- Vegan Garden Herb Cucumber Bites
- Chicken Alfredo
- Vegan Penne
- Cesar Salad
- Dinner Rolls
- Chocolate Fountain with various goodies for dipping
- Hot Chocolate Bar
This year we’ve booked a four string quartet to play a selection of classical songs during our dinner. During the ceremony we’ll also have readings, live music from community members, and more.
This is a special event and we encourage our members to dress up and help set the feel for the evening.
We are taking donations for The Open Shelter.
Please bring some new travel sized toiletries, gently used or new winter clothes (all ages), and new socks/underwear/undershirts.
This year the celebration continues after the Banquet! We’ll be headed to a nearby establishment for even more food, drinks, and fun. All are invited!
- Starts at 10PM
- Prost Beer & Wine Cafe
- 7354 E Main St, Reynoldsburg, OH 43068
